About Project

The Resilient Youth Parliament is a platform created to empower young voices in the fight against violent extremism. Funded by the European Union and implemented in collaboration with UNODC, NACTA, and City University Peshawar.

Our mission is to create a community of resilient youth leaders who can effectively advocate for peace, tolerance, and harmony in society.

FAQs

How long will the term of a member of RYP be?

The length/term of the 1st RYP will be 1 year.

The Resilient youth parliament is a membership-based project. It is not an employment or internship opportunity for Youth; therefore, there is no salary or stipend to be paid to those who are selected as members.

Members of 1st RYP will learn to carve pathways to professional success through knowledge, intellectual curiosity, empathy, and innovation that builds on individual achievements to address local, national, regional, and global challenges. RYP members will also be assigned work such as developing committee reports, a report on the status of development in their constituency or on the performance of their parliamentarians in that particular constituency.
